An Unforgettable Encounter with Alan Parsons in Barcelona
Today, I had the true honor of meeting a legend in the world of sound engineering — Alan Parsons. And what better place for it than the iconic Sagrada Familia, right here in my hometown of Barcelona?
Parsons is one of the greatest audio pioneers of all time. He was behind the production of some of the most legendary albums in music history: Abbey Road and Let It Be by The Beatles, The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd, and, of course, timeless hits with The Alan Parsons Project like Eye in the Sky.
Having the chance to speak with someone so influential in such a relaxed and friendly setting was nothing short of incredible. As if that wasn’t enough, I ended up giving him a ride back to his hotel — a perfect opportunity for a one-on-one conversation I’ll never forget.
